Ratchis's Altar

The exhibition in this room corresponds to the period between the 8th and 13th century. The objects are testimony to the great splendour in the Lombard and Patriarchal Cividale.

Treasury of Duomo

The historical and religious itinerary continues in Room 2 where the rich Treasury of Duomo is exhibited. Here you can admire prestigious relics dating back to the 8th and 16th centuries, some of which are rare specimens, if not unique.

Room 3

Art Gallery

The paintings exhibited in the art gallery come from churches located in Cividale. They were created between the 16th to the 18th century. Some of these prestigious canvases are attributed to the hand of great painters such as “il Pordenone” and “il Veronese”.

Liturgical vestments and eastern World

In this room, precious manufactures are exhibited with which intercultural dialogues are generated. Among them we have objects from the Western Christian world, as from the Islamic and Oriental art.
